Medium Trexo Fundraiser
We’re excited to raise funds for a Trexo robotic gait trainer—an innovative mobility device that helps children with disabilities experience the joy and freedom of walking. Our goal is to raise $85,000 CAD to acquire a commercial medium-sized Trexo unit, specially designed for children ages 3-12, to serve a range of needs for children who may otherwise be unable to walk independently.

The Trexo robot is a wearable robotic device that supports and guides children in walking, helping build strength, confidence, and coordination over time. For children with conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and spinal cord injuries, the Trexo can be transformative, improving motor skills, encouraging independence, and promoting social interaction through the power of movement.

Your support will help us give children the chance to walk, explore, and engage in ways many of us take for granted.
Every contribution brings us closer to providing this life-changing device—thank you for helping make these first steps possible!

FAQs:

Q: Who will own the Trexo once it's purchased and how will it be made available for children's use?
A: The Trexo will be owned by Kaleb's Friends and will be made available for childrens' use at the Canadian Centre for Development (CCD). The reason that CCD is a fitting organization to house the Trexo is due to it already being the custodian to a small-sized Trexo and being known nationally as the go-to therapeutic centre for children with disabilities.

Q: How will families gain access to the Trexo?
A: Families will be able to gain access to the Trexo by simply booking in for physiotherapy services at CCD. Use of the Trexo will then be integrated into the child's physiotherapy sessions at no additional cost.

Q: Who will be eligible to use the Trexo?
A: All children whom are good candidates for the Trexo, ie. are of the fitting size and abilities.
